2009 Notable Children's Book
A humorous story about a bear who wanted no friends and a persistent mouse who wanted a friend. Bear can't really get rid of mouse, who keeps on popping up in unexpected places. At the end Bear accepts that he needs a friend. Beautiful illustrations bring the book to life.
